The Empty Promises of a Higher Education?

Good read, but nothing really new here. The empty promises of a stable job after university has been going on for at least two decades in Canada.

I know of at least one person who continues to pursue higher and higher levels of education in her field. Canadian grants and scholarships are far more lucrative than working at a rather hopeless job, if one can even find one, on the east coast of our nation.

I feel considerable compassion for the hard-working, university educated Millennial who tries to balance three part-time jobs just to meet their monthly bills.

My grandfather once said to me,

” If you can accept that life is unfair, then you have already won half the battle…”

Wise advice, especially for today.
